DESCRIPTION:\nSummary:  This presentation is an interpretation of the available Corporate Transparency Act (“CTA”)/ FinCEN guidance on beneficial ownership reporting as it relates to community property, trusts, trustees, corporate trustees, grantors, beneficiaries, etc.  There will be an overview of basic CTA concepts, but to the extent possible, this presentation will provide some actionable approaches in handling beneficial ownership reporting for certain trust structures. \n \n \n \nPeyton Lacoste concentrates his practice in estate, tax, and business succession planning. He also serves as an advisor to companies of all sizes on mergers and acquisitions, securities law, and general corporate matters. During law school, Mr. Lacoste was a member of the Loyola University baseball team and served one year as a volunteer assistant coach.
